Our mothers make us.

We are formed from their bodies, shaped by their spirits, and so much of what we know about ourselves is born from their beliefs.

Our mothers link us to a lineage of shrinking stories, tales of a starving existence.

And their mother linked them.

And on and on and on.

But we are a living part of that lineage.

We, too,  are mothers and sisters and daughters and friends.

So we can change the story.

We can leave a legacy of love to honor the bodies and the beauty of our women.

The Love Letters are that legacy.
